What is Surftiger ?
We are a traffic exchange. You view websites in return for others viewing yours.
In other words, you earn website traffic.
How can I earn this traffic?
Join, login, then start surfing. You must view each site for 5 to 9 seconds before clicking to the next site.
It will vary by the pages being loaded, as some will delay the script.
My credits are not being added to my account.
You may have auto-assigning turned on. Log in to your account to turn this off.

How many sites can I have in rotation?
You can have up to 20 sites rotating at once.
How many credits can I earn?
Free members earn 0.62 credits for every 1 page viewed. This comes to 62 credits for every 100 sites viewed. The way it is rounded off, it will actually be a little more!
Can I trust every site I see on Surftiger?
No.
How does surfing Surftiger help me?
People view your website and may become interested in what you have to offer.
Can I purchase credits?
Yes. Click the advertise link on the main member screen or the link at the top of the surf bar while surfing.
Can I have more than 1 account?
No. If we find out, your accounts will be deleted and you will be banned. We have done this many times.
What sites can I promote on Surftiger?
Just about anything, but it is more of what sites you CANNOT promote. Please follow these rules:
-No more than 1 pop up.
-No freeezing pop ups.
-No dialogue boxes.
-No auto downloads, bookmarks, etc.
-No viruses or other harmful code.
-No PTP/PTC sites that load a different site in a frame each time.
-No adult oriented sites.
-No illegal sites or hacking sites.
-No hate sites or sites that just want to attack someone or something.
-No game sites where you play to kill, attack, or hurt other players.
-No content that adversly affects the surfing experience, but not mentioned above. Use Logic!
Can I use a rotator?
You can rotate up to 20 sites. This is better than a rotator. If you do use a rotator, make sure that all sites follow the rules. If they don't, your account will be deleted.
Why do you approve my site before it rotates?
Because many people do not follow the rules. Checking all sites gives a better overall surfing experience.
Can I start surfing immediately after joining?
Yes. Your credits will build on the first site you submit.
How will I know my site is rotating?
An email will be sent when each submitted site is approved. You can also login and check the status.
How will I know my login information?
An email will be sent to you with all the information you need to the email address you used to signup with.
Can I rotate my banners?
Yes. Surftiger uses a unique system. We rotate banners on and off the exchange. You must be a member of Surftiger banners. Just go to www.Surtigerbanners.com and signup. You get 500 free impressions on signup! Then, you can trade your credits for banner impressions. Use the link on the main member screen or the link at the top of the surf bar to do that.
Do you guarantee anything?
No.
Why do not use any anticheat system like other exchanges?
We believe that 99% of all users of all exchanges are honest. The other 1% are going to cheat, no matter what.
They would not be interested in really seeing your site anyway. We also believe that surfers will concentrate on 1 mental task at a time. Do you want that to be looking for the right graphic to click, or looking at your site? We believe strongly that the easier it is to earn credits, the less likely people will cheat. If you make it hard to surf, people will surf accordingly. We do not buy back credits, nor do we pay to surf. There is really no need to cheat. *NOTE:There is a random Tiger Facts page that will stop surfing.
You must click OK in order to keep surfing. This is a very easy way to keep surfers honest.
Why is the timer only about 8 seconds?
We believe that it is plenty of time. If you are not using DSL, cable, etc. to surf, then a 15 or 20 second timer is not going to make much difference. 9 seconds is plenty of time for a normal person to decide whether they should have a closer look. You should have sites that load in fairly quick.
And the kicker....sometimes the timer is faster, sometimes slower. This is true on every exchange. Many things make the timer go wacky or even stop. So don't time it. In the long run, it will average to about 7 seconds.
How often can I surf?
As often you like! We have no limit on the amount of credits you can earn. We may limit it in the future.
Do you have prizes and contests?
No. We believe we give you an excellent way of earning website traffic-fast, easy, and free. What more do you need? Website traffic is the number one thing that will build your online presence.
Do I have to be a paid member?
Absolutely not! Free members are the backbone of any traffic exchange. They are the ones who will surf the most. They are the ones who will view your sites more often. And you can get a fair amount of traffic by surfing!
What are referrals?
A referral is someone you get to signup for Surftiger using a signup page that has your ID# embedded.
What good is a referral?
For each user you personally refer, you will earn 10% of their surfing credits.
This can add up to quite a bit of free traffic.
